PLANNING BOARD
Notice
is hereby given in accordance with RSA 675:3-7, the Pelham Planning Board will
hold a public hearing to discuss zoning amendments proposed for the 2001 Town
Meeting. These public hearings shall
take place on December 18, 2000 at 7:30 pm at the Pelham High School Library, 85 Marsh Road, Pelham, New Hampshire. The following
Amendments
to Article VII Wetlands Conservation District.
This amendment will comprehensively modify the existing ordinance and
provide for increased buffers and changes in water-based resources that are
protected by the ordinance. This
amendment will potentially affect any landowner wishing to subdivide or build
or disturb land within the proposed wetlands conservation district. The full text of the amendments are

Street during normal business hours.
Adoption
of Open Space Planned Development. This
new ordinance will comprehensively modify the process of subdivision to
preserve existing densities per parcel but provide for increased preservation
of open space and natural resource protection.
In exchange for flexible design provisions, applicants will be required
to provide large contiguous parcels of open space where a subdivision is
proposed. This amendment will
potentially affect any subdivision which has not acquired vested rights or
anyone who is proposing to subdivide their property. The full text of the amendments are available from the Planning

Petitioned
Article in accordance with RSA 675:4.
This proposed ordinance prohibits the use of aircraft and helicopters in
the residential zones. This is a

Notice
is hereby given in accordance with RSA 675:6 of a proposed amendment to the
Town of Pelham Subdivision Regulations:
The Planning Board is proposing to modify Section X, (A) to change the
retainage amount of all bonds from 10% to 30%.
