Chairman Paul Gagnon brought the meeting to order at <= st1:time Hour=3D"19" Minute=3D"30" w:st=3D"on">7:30 p.m.

 

OLD BUSINESS:

 

M 35, Lot = 6-113-1 Sun Bridge Professional Center, LLC/Donald Ronning, 5 Old Bridge Street, South, Site Plan Review of proposed 6,240 s.f., 5-Unit Profess= ional Office Building – Submission of revised site plan with less disturban= ce and improved site conditions.

 

This case is before the Conservation Commission with a revised plan that reduces the amount of parking spaces from 73 to 51.  It was requested that under NOTES = on the plan, item #3, that it reflect the new number of parking spaces to read 51.=

 

The new plan shows the detention basin moved to the no= rthern side of the property so it would not be so close to the southern abutter. T= he movement of the basin is one reason the parking spaces needed to be reduced= .   The alternative with fewer pa= rking spaces will have fewer disturbances, more open space and a longer distance = for treatment water. This option also is said to be less noticeable as it will = be an earthen berm structure rather than a concrete walled structure.

 

Jay Stearns voiced some different options for mitigati= on of wetlands disruption of building sites from a meeting he and Paul Gagnon had attended with DES recently.


MOTION: To send favorable letter to the Planning Board advising of the redu= ced parking spaces proposed in the new plan.&n= bsp; (Edwards/MacKay) – VOTE 4-0 in favor

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

Review Pelham’s Natural Resources Inventory

 

Former Chairman of the Conservation Commission, Bob Ya= rmo, went over the mapping criteria and explained the ‘overlays’ that are used in identifying our natural resources.  Work sessions for this project are planned and will include public notification of the meeting dates and locat= ion.
